Robert Johnson was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. In 1970, he received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado. He pursued a corporate career with IBM for more than twenty years, focusing his energies on sales and sales management, market and business development, product acquisition and new product development. After several career relocations in the Southwest and Midwest, he settled in Roswell, Georgia.

In 1983, Robert entered law school and in 1987 he received a Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from Atlanta Law School. He began practicing law part-time in 1989 concurrent with his corporate career. In 1992, Robert left the corporate environment to pursue a full-time career in law, concentrating his efforts in estate planning, family law, asset protection and business law.

Robert is a member of the American Bar Association, Real Property, Probate and Trust Sections, the Georgia Bar Association, the North Fulton Bar Association and the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. He has attended numerous professional courses in estate planning and works closely with local Certified Financial Planners and Certified Public Accountants.
